Freedom to Marry Day Protest - Febuary 11, 2006

The day after our protest against the visit of Poland's notoriously anti-gay President Lech Kaczynski, GLN had our annual Freedom to Marry Day protest. The protest began at the Cook County Marriage License Bureau at the City/County Building across the street from Daley Plaza, marched through the building, and then up to Holy Name Cathedral on State Street. The pictures below are from in front of Holy Name Cathedral, where the Gay Liberation Network's Izzy Becerril and Reverend Sherrie Lowry of Barry United Methodist Church led off the program.
