Russian Gay Leader Nikolai Alexeyev In Chicago Next Week!

With over 20,000 posters, flyers and handbills distributed over the past few months, word is getting out about the Saturday, October 6th ninth annual Matthew Shepard March featuring Russian gay leader Nikolai Alexeyev. In addition to this, several media outlets are gearing up to help publicize his visit:

* The Feast of Fools podcast with Fausto Fernos and Marc Felion – the most popular LGBT podcast in the world – will be featuring Nikolai in a show they're posting on their website later today (Tuesday, Sept. 25). Just go to www.FeastofFools.net

* Besides articles they've already run promoting the Shepard March, both the Chicago Free Press (www.chicagofreepress.com) and Windy City Times (www.wctimes.com) are expected to run lengthy interviews with Nikolai in their issues coming out this week (Wednesday, Sept. 26)

* Chicago Public Radio's "Worldview" program, which airs at 12 noon weekdays on 91.5 FM, will interview Nikolai early next week, with broadcast later in the week (we will announce the broadcast date once we know). Once the show is broadcast, it can be heard on-line at www.WBEZ.org

* Mitchell Szczepanczyk's "Ministry of Truth" program on the University of Chicago's WHPK radio, 88.5 FM, will broadcast an interview with Alexeyev at 1:30 PM on Thursday, October 4. Once broadcast, the show can also be heard on-line at www.WHPH.org

Other potential interviews are in the works; we will announce them when they are finalized.

As a reminder, here is information about Nikolai's in-person public speaking events next week:
