Protest Against Anti-Gay Bigots This Tuesday

Bigots who are trying to bring an anti-gay constitutional amendment to Illinois are holding a fundraiser to promote the amendment at 5:30 pm next Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the Wyndham Drake Hotel, 2301 York Road, Oak Brook.

The fundraiser is sponsored by an anti-gay hate group called "Protest Marriage Illinois," a front group for the Illinois Family Institute. Their aim is to promote hatred against Lesbian, Gay, Bi, and Trans people and use the marriage issue to turn us into second class citizens.

We invite all who oppose this hate and discrimination to join us at a protest that day. Those who can give rides and those who needs rides from Chicago please meet at 3:30 pm in the parking lot behind Ann Sather's Restaurant, 929 W. Belmont Ave, Chicago (1/4 block east of the Belmont stop on the Red Line "el"). If you need a ride or can give a ride, please let us know by calling 773-209-1187.

The protest is sponsored by the Gay Liberation Network.
