Stand For Justice

Unite For Civil Rights!

This Sunday, June 4, please join Black LGBT & Allies for Equality and the Gay Liberation Network at

Sweet Holy Spirit Baptist Church
8621 S. Chicago Avenue

The pastor of this church, Bishop Larry Trotter, has been outspoken in his opposition to homosexuality and equal civil rights for gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people.

Coming at a time when religious figures in Nigeria, Russia, and Poland as well as the United States, are preaching bigotry, discrimination, and sometimes antigay violence, this protest is a necessary proclamation of gay worth and rights.

We plan to be present at 9 AM and stay until at least 10 AM, covering a worship hour that begins at 9:45 AM.

We will gather following the protest for coffee, an exchange of experiences on the demonstration, and ideas for future actions.

Transportation will be provided. Call Bob at 773-878-3697.

Carve out time for this religious experience. It will do your soul some good!
