GLN Participates in Protest Against Anti-Gay Anglican Bishop

Archbishop Peter Akinola of Nigeria visited Wheaton on Sunday with the aim of promoting an anti-gay split in the worldwide Anglican denomination. He has heavily promoted a bill in his home country which would ban lesbians and gays from marrying, forming their own organizations, or even gathering together in any group.

GLNers made the trek to Wheaton to join a protest organized by Episcopalian activists who favor equality within their church.
